SPRINGBURN WINTER GARDENS

The Springburn Winter Gardens competition was managed by the Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA) in 2014. The design brief requested an intervention in a plot facing the Winter Gardens building to provide a place where people can gather and share collective memories on both the park and its neighbourhood. At the end of a process that involved both a jury selection and a public vote Ruggero Lancia’s entry won 3^rd prize.
