ALDERWOOD HOUSE – DUMBARTON

Alderwood House will provide care for up to 32 vulnerable adults between the ages of 18 and 65 with short to medium term mental health issues. The home will help residents rebuild the confidence and life skills they will need to ultimately live an independent life within the community.

The single storey building will provide 28 single bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and 4 self-contained apartments. All apartments have their own front door and include a small living room with kitchen as well as a separate bedroom. These apartments will be used to provide residents with a stepping stone to living independently back within the community. Additional facilities include a Life Skills Room, Activity Room plus a central courtyard with a mindfulness garden and a variety of sitting areas.
