HAMNAVOE HOUSE – ORKNEY

This 40 bed, single storey care home has been built as a replacement for St Peters House Care Home in Stromness. The new home will provide high dependency care for the elderly in the West Mainland Orkney area.

The home will cater for a total of 40 residents with a high degree of physical frailty and dementia. Four bariatric rooms have also been included in the design. The home is divided into four small group living clusters each housing ten residents and takes advantage of the prominent, gently sloping site with panoramic views looking south towards Stromness and Hoy.
